Planning NZ trip

As you've already probably discovered most of the activities I do happens during the weekend, or more likely on Sundays.. Last Sunday we went to St Kilda market by the sea. Sun was shining but the wind was super cold. Enjoyed the markets anyway and even bought feather earrings, makes me feel all hippyish :)

I'm off to New Zealand next Wednesday so should have much more to tell during that journey and will take lots of pics too. Apparently it only takes 35h to go round the north island and visit most of the places. NZ must be tiny.. seems like I will be done within 2 weeks or so and then back to Melbourne again. As always I've left all the planning and organising for the last minute.. haven't packed, planned anything, booked hostel or even exchanged any money, which I did try but the post might not deliver by Tuesday so cannot risk it. Perhaps I can exchange some at the airport and then just use the bank cards later on. I am leaving Melbourne on Tuesday night flying to Brisbane and spending night at the airport. That will be fun.. not. At least I've got my blanket from Ikea to keep me warm.
